As the semester comes to an end, it hit me that next Thursday will be my last day of school EVER (cue existential crisis).
I realized that I don’t have much time left in London and even though I’ve spent the last five years of my life here, there is still so much food left to try.
This week, I took to Instagram for some help, asking my followers for restaurant suggestions in London and I got a ton of responses.
Whether you’re graduating this year, or you just started your post-secondary studies, you need to try these London restaurants before you graduate:
1. Kosmo’s
My favourite spot in London. The Greek salad is my go-to and they do NOT skimp on the feta. They also have a MAC N CHEESE GRILLED CHEESE, chicken and waffles and a weekly crispy chicken sandwich feature. Enough said.

2. Dimi’s Greek House
Authentic Greek food that will pleasure your taste buds.

3. The Root Cellar
Perfect spot if you have a vegetarian/vegan friend in your group. They offer tons of veggie/vegan options as well as meat dishes to satisfy the all palates.
4. Plant Matter Chain
Group of delicious vegan restaurants, including Plant Matter Kitchen, Plant Matter Bistro and Plant Matter Café (see Best Vegan Restaurants in London for an in depth description)

5. Toboggan
Great food and they brew their own beer too.
6. Los Lobos
Beautifully decorated taco joint, with hand painted art all over the venue. If you’re in the mood, I recommend splitting a margarita pitcher with some friends.
7. Dos Tacos
Want tacos, but don’t have time to sit down? Come here for some flavourful tacos on the go.

8. Camps Hi-Fi
Cheap all day breakfast that will hit the spot the morning after a night out on Richmond Row.
9. The Early Bird
The most indulgent brunch spot in London. The best part? Mimosas!
10. Bungalow
Well-known for their juicy burgers.
11. Garlic’s
Delicious menu with a great cocktail list. Order the garlic frites.
12. The Tasting Room
The name is pretty self-explanatory. Can’t decide what you’re in the mood for? They have an extensive appetizer list meant for sampling. All your cravings are sure to be satisfied.
13. The Black Trumpet
It might put a dent in your wallet, but it’s worth it. Intimate atmosphere that is perfect for special occasions, like a date (can’t relate).

14. The Springs Restaurant
If you’re a chicken fingers and fries type of person, this is not the place for you. Springs is a fine dining restaurant suited for those with elevated palates.
15. Rèverie
Looking to treat yourself? This is the place. They offer a set tasting menu for $75/person with the option of a wine pairing. Heads up– their dinner service is run by reservation only. Perfect for when that next instalment of OSAP comes in.
16. Shelby’s
Amazing shawarma spot and a popular submission in my Instagram poll.
17. Fresno’s
Calling all carb lovers! They have an extensive menu of sandwiches, salads and pastas and you can even customize your own.

18. Ozen
Popular sushi spot located on Richmond in the heart of downtown.
19. Mythic Grill
A hidden gem with delicious Greek food.
20. Wich is Wich
Not your typical sandwich shop. They offer a range of gourmet sandwiches and even have a daily veggie feature.
Did your favourite London restaurant make the list? Let me know if I missed any in the comments!

Living in London my whole life, I think I’ve been to just about every place on this list. They truly are hidden gems in London – If you’re interested in some ethnic meal options – some of my favourites also include Raja Indian cuisine, Thaifoon and Tamarine –

I’ve actually ordered from Thaifoon before but I’ve never been to the actual restaurant. I’ll definitely have to try the others– I love any type of cuisine and I’m also training myself to handle more spicy foods too!
